Circumcision Interview - Allow time for video to load......
According to Dr. Edward Hook, in his interview with Catherine on the subject of Circumcision and Gonorrhea; it is important that males be circumcised. A study was conducted on men in Sub-Sahara Africa, where it was concluded scientifically that men should be circumcised because it can eliminate and lower the possiblities for infections to the male as well as the female, esp. with the epidemic of HIV/AIDS.
Men as well as women need to be aware that cancer cells can be found in the foreskin of the penis. If not treated it can spread up the penile shaft. For more information please listen to the interview and take notes. The audio interview is located right above this paragraph. Please note that untreated infections of the prostate and colon can lead to cancer.

Dr. Eric Whitaker Dr. Eric Whitaker is Executive Vice President for Strategic Affiliations and Associate Dean or Community-Based Research At The University Of Chicago Medical Center Since October 2007. "Eric E. Whitaker, MD, MPH, a nationally recognized public health authority, expert on minority health issues and, in his own words, 'country doc' for some of the city's poorest communities, has been appointed Executive Vice President for Strategic Affiliations and Associate Dean for Community-Based Research, a new position at the University of Chicago Medical Center, effective October 1, 2007." When I interviewed Dr. Whitaker in 2004 we discussed the new program developed for women with regard to cervical and breast cancer titled "Illinois Breast & Cervical Cancer Screening Program".
Dr. Pete Thomas, Craig Spivey and the co-director of Project Brotherhood, "A Black Mens Clinic", give a detailed interview of what this community health center is about. The focus group designed a health care program geared toward minority African American men. The clinic has a medical staff consisting of all male doctors with the exception of one female practioner and they also offer free hair cuts to men for taking part in the programs and services offered.
